Crystal Ladies Meeting in ' Cheong Sam' Night
Meeting Theme : Mid-Autumn Festivals
As expected, Crystals girls were a vain lot and they were back to prompt their sexy high slits ‘Cheong Sam’ to celebrate the Moon Cake Festivals which was the theme for the meeting.
President Ogy Ong, CC gave a very captivating definitions of Moon-Cakes….Wow.. Even the shape beholds a meaning. A round shape depicts COMPLETENESS, similar to the unity of Crystals Family.
Thank You Karen Yip and Yip See See for your kind and generous contributions of the sweet delicacies that we get to savour only once a year.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Sharon Lam had to relinquish her role as TME the day before, and with a wave of a magical fairy wand, our dear Emily Bong readily appeared before us, took control and conducted the whole meeting with superb fineness and quality.
Thank You, Emily for accepting the TME role at the eleventh hour…. you are dynamic and a true role model who will not hesitate to help when Crystals is concerned.
More topics on Moon Cakes were thrown in when Table Topic Master, Sue Ellen took the stand to give all the speakers a good two minutes mind boggling amazing challenge.
The proficient second round speaker, Deborah Leong, was back to amuse us with her topic “Color Up your Life”
The colors of your clothes tell a story
White - Sense of purity and peace
Green - Insecure and wants to be loved
Red - Sexy
Yellow - Outstanding
Black - Power
So girls, the next time you open up your wardrobe, bear in mind, the colors, before you choose your clothes!
Karolyn Wong gave an emotional topic about parents and children. Parents are always there to sacrifice anything for their children.
Killing two birds with one stone......
The champions for the night were:-
Best Assignment Speaker – Deborah Leong
Best Table Topic Speaker & Best Evaluator – Andrew Tan
Thank you guest, Keng Yen for coming. Hope you will be a member soon. Also thanks to Sue Ellen for her tasty Jelly Cake.
At the finale, Andrew Tan, surprised the girls with a Mandarin number called “Yue liang dai piao wo de xing” which means the “moon represents my heart…” The girls sportingly sang along.
Everyone had a fantastic time. It was an evening well spent with good food, good fellowship and invaluable leanings to take home with.
