Phoenix TMC & Crystal TMC Joint Meeting on 12th Jan 2015

The President of Phoenix, witty Encik Hafiz started the meeting with boundless energy, highimpact
and high-power opening speech to welcome the guests, especially the girls from
Crystals……It was like opening the floodgate to a lot of ‘excitements’ that is coming……..
It was a fantastic get-together of fun, learning and not forgetting the yummy Indian food
specially catered for the meeting.
Being the 1st day of school that day, yet there was not any tell-tale sign in the attendance!
Maybe it could be the power of attraction of the good food. Ha ha
What more? The unfamiliar seating arrangement of round tables and chairs in the meeting
room have contributed to the coziness, friendly and somewhat informal ambience which
made the meeting even more unique.
Two prominent players were present that night;
Funny Albert Chuah, ACG,CL in his natural self , had put everyone in stitches with his
extraordinary ‘dirty’ jokes and comments. Sue Ding, DTM was the Table Topics Master.
And below are the Crystal girls who not only participated but showed their courage and
displayed top notch skills outside the comfort of our own Club:
1)Nana Halim…… with her Speech on Inspiration…. CC # 10…The Parable of Pencil & Eraser
2)Ng Sok Teng,ACS,ALS …… who gave a special appearance as Invocator
3)Claire ….. gave her CC #8 …Wishing for a Miracle… Her moral of the story is ….If Miracles
do not happen…be a Miracle yourself.
She related her speech to Nick Vujicic and life without limbs…Well done, Claire. It was a well
crafted speech with a strong take home message.
4)And Joey and Ogy who both stood tall and confident in their deliveries of Table Topics….
Also thanks to Esther, Emily and Mei Foong who have kept themselves very busy with their
role plays.

Thank you girls for making effort to support this joint meeting.
It was such a wonderful evening of fun and laughter and we owe this to one person who
made the night so memorable….Her comments and words spoken were so original, every
sentence emitted like a missile, outright direct and so laughable ….. Oh yes…everyone
enjoyed the meeting very much.
