Keynotes for Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest -22/08/2011
Dear members and guests,
It was great organization work by the Organizing Chair, Tan Saw Bee and her two Contests Chairs i.e. Linda Phoon for the Humorous Contest and Emily Bong for the Evaluation Contest.
A big thank to all the role players, Chief Judge Parames, DTM and her panel team of judges, Test Speaker Dorothy, club members and guests who came up to give support and courage in making this event successful.
Well done to all the contestants, just by taking part, you are a winner in your own right for the courage to step forward.

Some highlight in the contest:-
Carolin truly a natural speaker, She kept us in suspend, we were so curious about her first son and her second husband……
Ogy Ong spoke on her life…..her relationship with her husband…she tickled our funny bones...
Emily Bong shared with us the change after joining toastmasters….her new discoveries…
Siew Tho spoke with us what money means to her?
Karen Goh spoke on the power of laughter……ha!ha!ha!ha!…let us laugh and keep us younger. It is better than eating “Jin seng”
Drum roll, please…the winner For the Humorous Contest goes to:-
Champion: Emily Bong
1st Runner Up: Karen Goh
2nd Runner Up: Ogy Ong
Else, on the evaluation contest, the test speaker Dorothy shared with us her “First Time”. We were so curious what was her first time? The answer is “Cooking Curry for her husband”. Thank you for the courage as the first time test speaker in Crystal too. Well Done!

During the break, we celebrated our Big sister, Saw Bee’s Birthday. We are blessed to have such lovely lady as our sister. Saw Bee, we love you! May the Guardian Angel with you and protect you. May all your dreams come true!
Lastly, the winner of the contest will represent our club in Area B5 Contest.

Time: 1pm to 6pm
