19.05.2020 THEME: TIME IS LIKE A RIVER

JOINT MEETING OF METROPOLITAN BILINGUAL TMC & CRYSTAL TMC

It was an eye-opening experience for both clubs when we held a cross-districts joint meeting with Metropolitan Bilingual TMC. This was because most of the members have not been exposed to clubs outside District 102. we truly appreciated the support and opportunity rendered to us by the President, Mr.Henry Fu.

The Toastmaster of the Evening Catherine Wong was only given 2 days to prepare for the meeting. It seems like a “Mission Impossible” she could still made it with the teamwork from both clubs - Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much - Helen Keller.  



President of Crystal Vivian Seow had her opening address with a message that says, “Although there is no boundary in the digital world, time is like a river, you cannot touch the same water twice”
It’s true that online meeting has no boundary. One can join different meetings numerous times, or replay online a past meeting that they have missed, but the feeling and experience will never be the same.
President Vivian Seow urged all members to support home club meetings as much as they can. It should be given the topmost priority instead of other online events.



President of Metropolitan Bilingual Henry Foo gave his closing speech and invited participants like Past Division B Director Jennifer Pan, DTM, and Area B5 Director Ogy Ong, ACG ALB for constructive feedback.

Blossom! Our ever e xuberant & invigorating. Yip See See challenged herself to conduct the entire meeting on stage without both  the lectern and notes. S he has truly blossomed into a Shining Star of Crystals with her astounding performance as the Toastmaster of the Evening. Indeed it was a privilege to have CP Lau as our General Evaluator, to motivate our Crystals to continue to blossom and be as colorful as the flowers.
