Empowering The New Term 2015/2016 With A Big Bang!
Our evergreen Tan Saw Bee, ACG, CL as the TME, imbued our Crystals with enthusiasm to kick start our new term with the theme “Empowering Self & Others.
Saw Bee resourcefully empowered the audience with her high energy, great passion & enthusiasm which strengthened the hearts of all Crystals to push the envelope!

To add on to her vibrancy, we had the honour of invigorating DTM Subramaniam as our General Evaluator evoking and further inspiring our Crystals as he fondly shared his proud moments with the Crystals during his term as the Division Governor.

Next, we have our effervescent Bonnie Ang, as The Table Topic Master, who successfully challenged 6 Table Topic Speakers with intellectually designed topics, of which, all Speakers bravely delivered their speeches confidently and enthusiastically.

Help people to have enough self-confidence!

Speaker #2 … Lee Mei Foong
If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we are not really living!

Speaker #3 … Jennifer Pan
The higher, the better. It’s a move about an attitude. High heels empower the women!
Speaker #4 … Sivalingam
I want to empower women. I want people to be afraid of the women I dress!

Speaker #5 … Ng Siew Tho
How has Crystal TMC helped you to become a beautiful butterfly!

Speaker#6 … Irene Lee
People will forget what you said or did but people will never forget how you made them feel!

Assignment Speakers… Joanne Hoo & Esther Then
Moving on with this empowering team, we had 2 Assignment Speakers, Joanna Hoo who delivered her speech CC Project #6 and Esther Then who attempted her speech from the ACSl – Speeches By Management Project #3.
Karolyn Wong imbued the audience with enthusiasm with “Keeping The Commitment” from the Successful Club Series and thus, officially achieving the communication award of Advanced Communicator Silver.

Heartiest Congratulations to Karolyn Wong, ACS for contributing another half a point towards our DCP Goals.

Kudos to our first time Table Topic Evaluator, Lim Pei Ying, who delivered a comprehensive evaluation for all 6 Table Topic Speakers.

As always, both DTM Sivalingam & DTM Irene skilfully provided an insightful evaluation for our Assignment Speakers, Joanne Hoo & Esther Then.

19.05.2020 THEME: TIME IS LIKE A RIVER

JOINT MEETING OF   METROPOLITAN BILINGUAL T MC & CRYSTAL TMC It was an eye-opening experience for both clubs when we held a cross-districts joint meeting with Metropolitan Bilingual TMC. This was because most of the members have not been exposed to clubs outside District 102. we truly appreciated the support and opportunity rendered to us by the President, Mr.Henry Fu. The Toastmaster of the Evening Catherine Wong was only given 2 days to prepare for the meeting. It seems like a “Mission Impossible” she could still made it with the teamwork from both clubs - Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much - Helen Keller.   President of Crystal Vivian Seow had her opening address with a message that says, “Although there is no boundary in the digital world, time is like a river, you cannot touch the same water twice” It’s true that online meeting has no boundary.
