Crystal TMC Meeting Keynotes 26th May 2014

“LET IT GO…………………LET IT GO…………………”

In life, sometimes we harbour bitter and unpleasant feelings about someone or a disagreement; we allow such guilt or grief to be embedded in our hearts. Life goes on, just face the world, let it go and let bygones be bygones.
So ladies, set yourselves free, be someone who you want to be. Dress and look the way you like. From now on, transform and move forward with confidence and RISE like the break of DAWN.
A big applause to our ever energetic and confident TME, CC Tammy Lim for bringing in the idea of “Let It Go.”
Our Humour master CTM ATMB Carolyn Wong let go her first blast by standing on stage with her yellow “wigs” and act like a “crown”. The laughter erupted even before she utter the first sentence. Obviously, a good beginning makes a good ending. Most of us burst into laughing  tears upon watching and hearing her jokes. Well done Carolyn Wong.

Datin Matilda emerged in “Green” on table topic session. She vividly tailored some questions in accordance to the theme “Let It Go.”

1.  Wow! Chelsea can accept life unconditionally even at her young age.
2.  Claire Chok used her power of imagination mostly on happy moments.
3. If Valerie could, she would like to become an educator. What a holy dream!
4.  Chandra changed his perception on the quote “Laughter is the best medicine” which he used to disagree previously. Congratulations………..

And finally, we are attracted by DTM Deborah’s vivid persona on her view about happiness. Yes, happiness is everyone’s desire. She vividly relates happiness to harmony, health, heart and heaven.

JUST DO IT. Yes, our first assignment speaker, TM Pei Ying advised us not to think too muchJUST DO IT when you think the timing is right. She brought us through her memory lane on her self-motivation in fencing competition, how she overcomes her mental block and emerged as champion eventually. Bravo TM Pei Ying. From your speech, we can now see the brighter sky at the other side.

Our second speaker, Chandra comes all the way from Indrahana Toastmasters club to teach us how to do Donor Kebabs. He smartly compared the procedures of preparing donor kebabs and composing a good speech. We now clearly understand the similarities of preparing donor kebabs and a speech.  If you want to become a competent communicator, you must first make sure the filling is tasty and wrapped the donor kebabs really tight, so that audience will ask for more………..If not, your speech will fail……………………:-)

“We want nobody, nobody but Deborah Leong”
Our image consultant, DTM Deborah Leong stands in right with her vivid distinctive personality. This is the first time I see someone dance her way up to the stage. Yes….She got the looks and she managed to grab the audience’s attention. You can find nobody…nobody… but she can do it. From her speech, we understand that IMAGE is what we make of ourselves. Don’t rely on anyone to make us to be worthy. Thank you DTM Deborah Leong, from now onwards, I would like to stand outside if possible, because…. I want to be OUTSTANDING like you.

Lastly, we have CC CL Ng Siew Tho who impersonated Mr. Lee Thiam Wah, who is a handicapped but with great vision. With the endurance and his strong beliefs, from a “kacang putih” seller, he now owns more than 500 mini markets nationwide.  His dreams materialised and proudly announced to the world that, “You can laugh at me but don’t looked down on me.”  Wow…..What a strong determination!

A big applause goes to all the evaluators who presented their vivid evaluations on all the speakers. Especially Samuel Selvaraju who praised the speaker all the way without even providing any room of improvement on his evaluation session, this might be due to our DTM Deborah Leong being far too good for him. Ha Ha Ha!
I want nobody, nobody but you !
