14th Oct Club Meeting cum "Monodrama" Workshop





Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a literature come alive through your voice, emotions, and movements? If Yes, you must register for the Monodrama session that will be held on October 14, 2013. The monodrama session is proudly brought to you by Lum Woon Foong DTM from Metropolitan Bilingual Toastmasters Club.
The Monodrama, from the Interpretive Reading manual, is an exciting speech project. It allows you to explore body language and vocal variety to the fullest. Through delivering this speech, you might even be surprised to discover that you have hidden acting talents! It’s perfect for the stage performances that Crystal ladies are so famous for.
Lum Woon Foong, DTM will be performing the monodrama, Emily Of Emerald Hill, followed by a discussion of the speaking techniques used in a monodrama. She will share tips on vocal variety and body language for bringing the monodrama alive. 
TME on that night is Nana Halim TM, please contact her at 012-2068101 if you want to try on some role plays that you are aiming for long. Our meeting will be divided into 2 sessions. First session will be the regular meeting and the second session will be the one hour monodrama workshop. For your information, the assignment speaking slots were fully taken up. You may try on other role plays to polish your multi functional skills.
Do bring your friends or relatives to the meeting cum workshop. You might help another person to realise their hidden power of acting skills.
Door fees are fixed at RM20.00 per person for both members and guests. Come in pairs or come in groups, together we realise our hidden acting talents,Together We Shine.
