Yip See See - Toastmaster Of The Evening

Christmas is round the corner, and Crystal Toastmasters Club had a Pre-Christmas Celebration Meeting on 10th December 2012. On this special meeting, our Toastmaster Of The Evening, Yip See See, ATMS with the theme “Joy Of Giving” bring the ambient of Christmas alive at the meeting.


A total of 41 people, combining of members and guest attended the meeting bringing with them gift for exchange. Guest as far as Brunei and Margaret, a gorgeous 87 old woman had joined us on this wonderful occasion.

We had plenty of food to go around and a special menu arranged by Emily, ACB, ALB, a  Christmas turkey and potatoes to go with it. Turkey are a traditional dish that are not to be miss in any celebration of Christmas.

Our 4 vibrant speakers for the evening are Esther Then, TM, Joey Cheng, TM, Lee Mei Foong, ACB, ALB and Emily Bong, ACB, ALB with their evaluators, Emcee Cva, CC, Richard Hoy, CTM, G. Sivalingam, DTM and Karen Hee, ATMB, ALB.

The Table Topic Master – Tan Saw Bee, ACG, had brilliantly set her Table Topic questions on a Christmas Tree !!




Our December babies, Sharon Lam, CC and Yeo Yoke Bee, CTM celebrated their birthday. Happy Birthday sweeties !!

19.05.2020 THEME: TIME IS LIKE A RIVER

JOINT MEETING OF   METROPOLITAN BILINGUAL T MC & CRYSTAL TMC It was an eye-opening experience for both clubs when we held a cross-districts joint meeting with Metropolitan Bilingual TMC. This was because most of the members have not been exposed to clubs outside District 102. we truly appreciated the support and opportunity rendered to us by the President, Mr.Henry Fu. The Toastmaster of the Evening Catherine Wong was only given 2 days to prepare for the meeting. It seems like a “Mission Impossible” she could still made it with the teamwork from both clubs - Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much - Helen Keller.   President of Crystal Vivian Seow had her opening address with a message that says, “Although there is no boundary in the digital world, time is like a river, you cannot touch the same water twice” It’s true that online meeting has no boundary.
