REGULAR MEETING – 22ND OCTOBER 2012 - BLOOM






On 22nd October 2012, our Toastmaster of the Evening, Nana Halim, TM, brought us together with the Theme – Bloom. It was indeed a blossom evening with the ladies and even our General Evaluator, Benny Chia, ACB, CL came in floral design fabric attire. In every Toastmasters meeting it is a journey of fun learning and for the evening, I practically found myself to be a better poser for photography session through “ How To Be Photogenic “.  Last but not least, would like to share out a quote said by our Toastmaster of the Evening, which I find it very meaningful  .............

If you want to be truly successful invest in yourself to get the knowledge you need to find your unique factor. When you find it and focus on it and persevere your success will blossom. "

19.05.2020 THEME: TIME IS LIKE A RIVER

JOINT MEETING OF   METROPOLITAN BILINGUAL T MC & CRYSTAL TMC It was an eye-opening experience for both clubs when we held a cross-districts joint meeting with Metropolitan Bilingual TMC. This was because most of the members have not been exposed to clubs outside District 102. we truly appreciated the support and opportunity rendered to us by the President, Mr.Henry Fu. The Toastmaster of the Evening Catherine Wong was only given 2 days to prepare for the meeting. It seems like a “Mission Impossible” she could still made it with the teamwork from both clubs - Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much - Helen Keller.   President of Crystal Vivian Seow had her opening address with a message that says, “Although there is no boundary in the digital world, time is like a river, you cannot touch the same water twice” It’s true that online meeting has no boundary.
