Annual General meeting 18/5/13

Dear ladies,

Thank you to all the members who attended the Crystal's Annual General Meeting. Also a special thank you to our two distinguished guests, Leann Tang ,DTM and G Sivalingam, DTM.

 

It has been a sweet, melodious and rewarding journey for me to serve as the 15th President of the Club. It is not because of the glory and power that I came to this position, but to me, it is a journey of learning, relearning and unlearning many things in many life. I really appreciate the members for giving me such a great opportunity.

 

My appreciation goes to all Past Presidents, Executive Committees and members, who have supported me throughout the term.

 

This term, we continue to uphold the Crystal's tradition of maintaining the President's Distinguished Club 10/10 two months ahead of schedule. Besides this, Yip See See, ATMS, has done the Club real proud by winning in the club, Area, Division or District contests

 

My special gratitude goes to IPP Emily Bong, ACB ALB, Area B4 Governor, Tan Saw Bee ACG and Area B5 Governor, Ng Sok Teng, ACS ALB for their support, guidance and advice rendered to me during my term.

 

 During the AGM, the Election Officer, Emily Bong, IPP has conducted the election of the Executive Committee Members for the term 2013-2014. Area B5 Governor, Ng Sok Teng ACS ALB was appointed as the Parliamentarian.

Congratulations to all our newly elected Club Officers for the Term 2013-2014.

To the incoming team of Executive Committee, I wish you all the best and to enjoy your new roles and responsibilities.

 

Incoming President Speech- Linda Phoon, CC CL

In her acceptance speech, she thanked the members for electing her as the President for theTerm 2013/2014. She is very confident that with the support from the incoming club officers, Crystal will still continue to uphold the status of President Distinguished Club Status 10/10. With this confidence, she now has a mission that Crystal will create more leaders. She will do her best to encourage ladies to become a leader.

After the Incoming President's Speech, we had a great lunch, yummy, yummy food and great camaraderie among all ladies.


Lastly, indeed it was really a fun, enjoyable and pleasurable afternoon.

 

As the Out-going President, once again, I Thank everyone from the very bottom of my heart, for the sisterhood and special bonding that we all shared and worked together as a family!
