Club & Area - Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests
Crystal Toastmasters Club, hit the wave of sensation for the Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests on 27th August 2012 as its smash the record of participants for both contests. Caroline Wong, ATMB our Organizing Chair vibrantly energized the audience by commencing the evening with the Humorous Speech Contest and followed by the Evaluation Contest.
In every contest, each and every participants are a winner in his or her own way by having the courage and confident to step forward as a contestants. The enrichment of knowledge, experience and fun learning is a journey to success.
The audience and role players are equally important as without them the show cannot goes on !!
It was a humorous evening as everyone is entertained with all the Contestants speeches. The speech with the title “Nine Month Glory” was so hilariously presented that it captured the audience heart as soon as the first sentence was utter. And as true as the speech title stand out, it was GLORY for Yip See See, ATMS, as she emerged as Champion for Humorous Speech Contest.

1st Runner Up: Pua Yu Min, TM
2nd Runner Up: Emily Bong, ACB, ALB
Moving on, is the Evaluation Contest. Our eloquent speaker, Low Lay Chi, ACG confidently and vividly evaluated the Test Speaker, Desmond Onn, which had put her at the peak as Champion for Evaluation Contest.
Champion: Low Laychi, ACG
1st Runner Up: Jennifer Pan, CC, CL
2nd Runner Up: Lee Mei Foong, ACB, ALB
Our Club Champions represented Crystal Toastmasters Club in Area B5 Contest on 8th September 2012 at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus, LT11, Level 1, Block D.
The Contests started at 2pm with representative from B5 clubs eagerly, readily and vrooming to start the race to the other end of the road. It was a spectacular afternoon with supporters from clubs members, family members and friends.
The audience was thrilled by the contestants’ humorous speech and evaluation from Area B4 and B5. It was a joyous double celebration day for Crystal Toastmasters Club as our gorgeous ladies, Yip See See, ATM and Low Lay Chi, ACG, made us proud as they confidently grab the challenging trophies as CHAMPIONS in the AREA B5 for Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests. Congratulation !!
Both of them will compete in the Division Contests !! Well done !!
