One Club ! 2 Voice again!

On 28/12/2010, Crystal had a joint meeting with Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club

Kay Wong, ACB Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club President gave her opening speech.

Toastmasters of the Evening, Dr Devi, DTM took over the control.

We were delighted to see the overflowing attendance despite the heavy rain outside....

Our club, Siew Tho CC as Table Topics Masters, she gave the audience a surprise..A Picture Paint A Thousand Miles.. The speakers have to speak anything about the picture.

For the Table Topics Session, Dr Devi from Taman Indrahana Club won as the Best Table topics Speaker. Congratulations!

4 Assignment speakers:-
1) Lim Thian Seng, ACS, CL (Taman Indrahana) entertained us on his golfing experience.."My encounter with the Silly Game"

2) Yeoh Cheng Lim, CL (Taman Indrahana) shared with us the fact of life and Death. We were shocked by the high accident rate in Malaysia.

3) Linda Phoon, TM brought us to Festive in Red, Chinese New Year

4) Saw Bee, ACG enjoyed us with her Gastronomic in Ipoh....Yummy...Yummy!! Good Food!

Congratulations ! Saw Bee was the best assignment speaker.

On evaluation session, Mei Foong gave a constructive and thorough feed back on Thian Seng...Guess What? She was the best Evaluator for the nite.

Our lovely Division Gavenor, Irene Lee, ALB was the General Evaluator for the night......She was impressed with the support from the senior members in Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club..

Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club celebrated it 25th years anniversary last year...The Chartered member, Lim Thian Seng still strongly support the club....Bravo!! Thian Seng ! i really salute your toastmasters spirit.

The theme “Moving Forward” is to motivate the members to progress or advance further in our journey of toast mastering. The Toastmaster Of The Evening, Emily Bong, ACB, ALB, had early on before the meeting, blast out an email, “ Are you  moving  forward  to  equip  yourself to be a  better mentor?" Our honorable Brand Strategist Speaker’s, Jon Tan, DTM, had tailor made a “Mini Mentoring Workshop” in this meeting. In this workshop, he talks about how to be an effective mentor and the benefits of being a coach, mentor or mentee. It also explore on defining vision plan and mentoring scope. A practical role of Mentor and Mentee had taken place in this session to in-depth further in this workshop. He even distribute the materials of Mentoring to all who attended the workshop. “LET IT GO…………………LET IT GO…………………” In life, sometimes we harbour bitter and unpleasant feelings about someone or a disagreement; we allow such guilt or grief to be embedded in our hearts. Life goes on, just face the world, let it go and  let bygones be bygones . So ladies, set yourselves free, be someone who you want to be. Dress and look the way you like. From now on, transform and move forward with confidence and  RISE  like the break of  DAWN. A big applause to our ever energetic and confident TME, CC Tammy Lim for bringing in the idea of  “Let It Go.” Our Humour master CTM ATMB Carolyn Wong let go her first blast by standing on stage with her yellow  “wigs”  and act like a  “crown” .
