Crystal Meeting on 28 June 2010
CRYSTAL TOASTMASTERS wishes to say a big THANK YOU to all members for the fun learning, enjoyable and another successful year for achieving the 10/10 DCP GOAL .
Obviously our TME Leader Eng Mui Seng ACG, planned the meeting well in advance. She invigorated the whole team to celebrate with colors and lots of gifts were given away.
Much to our delight, many long lost members were back for action, it was like a reunion meeting cum party.
Good Meeting, Good food and Good fellowship.
Thanks to Tropicana who generously served us one of their signature dish, Nasi Lemak with ayam goreng and varieties of local fruits ..
Word of the evening: Invigorate, set by our in house Brand Grammarian, Christine Lum CC.
It was like an impromptu night, our Table Topic Master Carolin Chin ATMB, invigorate her session by calling seven speakers to voice out ' what and when was their joist time and seeking opinion/ solution on relation issue'.
Our Table Topic Evaluator Karen Goh CC, did an amazing evaluation for seven speakers, in her first attempt in this challenging role....
Thus to Yoke Bee speech, we all understand now why she was missing for so long...., Indeed, all of us were invigorated to know that all her hard-work paid off, she got promoted recently in her job.
Congrats! Yoke Bee......
Chuai Peng, as usual always at her best..... Her presentation shows her true talent... In her Special Occasion speech, Chuai Peng presented the Winner award all the way to her own-self. Winning the 'Speaker of the Night'.
We want to hear more from Chuai Peng.......
Congratulations Siew Tho on your final speech: Inspire Your Audience.
You have successfully inspired us. All of us, especially all new members, we are all here sharing one common interest in Crystal: " Re-write our Destiny".
Siew Tho you and I have come a long way, as I said in my speech, I have no regret in joining Toastmasters, no matter how treacherous, how difficult and how long the journey is... If we have the will to learn, we can achieved our dream. Remember, it is the journey that transform us for who we are today....
Our new member Casey Cheah TM, first time time keeper, clearly keep good track of the time. Start on time and end on time....
Ah Counter Linda Phoon TM, able to listen attentively and managed to catch the speakers eh..eh ah..ah...clutches......
Well done Linda and Casey for your first attempt....

As we come to end of our last meeting theme Motivated To Inspire: It is time to cultivate our goal and plan for our new theme.
Our first TME of the term, Ng Sok Teng ATMB, will kickoff the new theme 'SOARING TO THE GREATER HEIGHTS" with a BANG!
Till then Ladies, let's start the ball rolling......
