Crystal AGM 12th May 2012


Thank you very much to our Area B5 Governor Nancy Liew, Dennis Wee DTM, our Parliamentarian and all Crystal members for attending our 14th Annual General Meeting yesterday.




It has been an enriching and rewarding experienced for me as the President. I wish to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of my Executive Committees and all members for their contributions in achieving the President Distinguished Club 10/10 three months ahead of schedule.

Besides achieving the PDC (President's Distinguish Club) goal, Crystal has also achieved Passion Drive 1 campaigns held from July 2011 to September 2011. In addition, we also fulfilled Passion Drive 4 requirement by recruiting more than 10 members from July 2011 to March 2012.




Awarded two new banners from Passion Drive One and Four campaigned.

Here are the highlight of some key achievements and milestone that we have reached together, during the term from July 2011 to March 2012.

ü Recruited 13 new members within the first 9 months

ü Awarded New Toastmasters Logo Banner” for Achieving Passion Drive 1 campaign from June- Sept 2012.

ü Achieved 4 Competent Communicator, 2 Competent Leaders, 2 Advanced Leaders and 2 Advanced Communicators within the first 9 months

ü Was Champion in Area B5 Evaluation Contest and 1st runner up in Division B Evaluation contest.

ü Got 1st Runner Up placing in Area B5 Humorous Contest

ü Also 2nd Runner Up placing in Area B5 , International Speech and Table Topics contests

ü The 1st Club in Division B being awarded as President’s Distinguished Club as at March’12.



Crystal ladies who have emerged at Area & District Level:

- Irene Lee ACB, ALS was the Organizing Chair of the KL-2012 Toastmasters Convention held at Sunway Convention Hall in April 2012.

- Immediate Past President Lee Mei Foong ACB, ALB took up the challenge as the Organizing Chairperson taking full charged of the gala night event. She was assisted by a team of Crystal Esteemed members.

- Tan Saw Bee, ACG has been elected as Area B4 Governor 2012/2013 in March 2012.
- Ng Sok Teng, ATMB ALB has been elected as Area B5 Governor 201/2013 in March 2012.

Crystal TMC Meeting Keynotes 26th May 2014

“LET IT GO…………………LET IT GO…………………” In life, sometimes we harbour bitter and unpleasant feelings about someone or a disagreement; we allow such guilt or grief to be embedded in our hearts. Life goes on, just face the world, let it go and  let bygones be bygones . So ladies, set yourselves free, be someone who you want to be. Dress and look the way you like. From now on, transform and move forward with confidence and  RISE  like the break of  DAWN. A big applause to our ever energetic and confident TME, CC Tammy Lim for bringing in the idea of  “Let It Go.” Our Humour master CTM ATMB Carolyn Wong let go her first blast by standing on stage with her yellow  “wigs”  and act like a  “crown” . The laughter erupted even before she utter the first sentence. Obviously, a good beginning makes a good ending. Most of us burst into laughing    tears  upon watching and hearing her jokes. Well done Carolyn Wong. ​ Datin Matilda emerged in   “Green”  on table topic session. S
