Key Notes for Joint Meeting 8 November 2010
Dear Fellow Crystal & Phoenix Toastmasters Members
We had a marvelous time in our join meeting, didn’t we?
TWO CLUBS, ONE VOICE!
The Phoenixes were energized while the Crystals were all keyed up.
Nothing but thrilled...... A good combination of both clubs speakers and role players has created a memorable night for all.
Once the Presidential Address was over, Toastmaster of the Evening Chin Teng Yoong CTM, took over the control. We were delighted to see the overflowing attendance; our large meeting room suddenly became so pack and looked smaller on that evening.
It was a very special gathering indeed; we were having a join birthday celebration of both clubs November babies, as well as join meeting.
Happy Birthday to all November Babies!
"May You Made Many Good Friends And Enjoy Our TOASTMASTERS Journey Together”.
Due to time constrains we do away the humor session to give more time for impromptu speeches. Table Topic session was led by TM Joann Gam. The topics were all related to Mother Nature. Seven speakers stepped forward and spoke on topics that closed to their heart.
This was followed by our four assignment speakers:
Boon Har TM shared with us how to keep our skin beautiful by using the right skin care product.
Agnes Hii TM encouraged all to have a brief walk after lunch and be happy that you can’t get a parking lot right at your office door step.
Albert Chua CTM entertained us with his childhood memories and created a lot of laughter in his speech on how Adam and Eve eeeh............
Our last speaker: Laychi Low ACS, Asserting herself Effectively to another level in her Toastmaster journey.
CONGRATULATIONS! Laychi on your Advance Communicator Gold (ACG) achievement.
And we have Edmond Yap CC from TTDI TM as our General Evaluator. The young and fresh looking Edmond seemed to enjoy his evaluation segment and he couldn’t wrap up his points in the given time.
It has been a pleasure to see so many of you joining us to make this another enriching meeting.
With this I would like to thanks our Area Governor Poh Lin, DTM Johnson Yike and Phoenix President Nicole, Anna Chin VP-E and all Phoenix TM members for the inspirational, memorable and outstanding meeting.
