Title: Excelling in Emceeing with Your Distinct Personal Brand

Should you be versatile, or should you specialize?
Should you be serious, or should you be quirky?
Should you be flamboyant, or should you be simple?

This interactive session will help you unravel your Distinct Personal Brand, thereby transforming you into an Emcee Extraordinaire. You will also gain some insights in persuasive communication that will make you stand out as a suave event hostess with the “mostest”.

Professionally, Jon Tan,ATMG is a specialist in persuasive communication. His professional work experience encompasses Personal Branding and Corporate Branding, as well as Conceptual Copywriting and Strategic Speechwriting. He is also a certified Professional Speaker. In the realm of Emceeing, Jon has hosted national-level and international-level events, ranging from informal to formal and royalty-patronage.

As a Toastmaster, he was previously an Area Governor (W4) and Asst Division Governor (Division W) for Education & Training. Among the various Workshops/Seminars he has contributed towards the Toastmasters fraternity, is “How to Be A Professional Emcee”, which has been run five times, from 2002 to 2010. In Speech competitions, he was the Year 2003 Table Topics Champion for District 51 (then, comprising 7 countries, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, and Malaysia).
