It was another remarkable yearly event organised by Crystal TMC. A program involved with 34 role players and 25 students. The Organising chair was Lee Mei Foong, ACB, ALB . Despite her busy working schedule, even she was  not able to attend the program. She took up the challenge as the Organisng Chair. She ensure everything plan ahead. The Youth Leadership Program was a huge success because of her meticulous organization, detailed planning and excellent leadership in leading the team. Bravo ! Mei Foong. The special for this program was to provide an opportunity for the children:- -to learn how to overcome their nervousness when speaking before an audience -to organize and present their ideas logically and convincingly -to build up their leadership skills. YLP , our biggest event of the year is coming to town soooooooooooooon........... Nov 20 & 21, 2010. Youth Leadership Program is part of our community progams aimed at children aged 13-17 years old. YLP helps them to build their communication and leadership skills so they may become tomrrow's leaders in business, industry and community. The YLP is conducted by members of Crystal Toastmasters Club and assistance from other TM clubs. Unlike public speaking program offered by training companies, our YLP is facilitated by a group of trainers and mentors from TM. This is a good opportunity for you to strengthen your communication and leadership skills. Youth Leadership Program Date : 21 st -22 nd Nov 2009 Time : 8.30am -5.30pm Venue : Greens I , Tropicana Golf and Country Resort The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) helps young people develop the communication and leadership skills they need to be successful adults. The YLP covers a variety of topics –gestures , vocal variety, speech organization and effective delivery . During the 2-day training , participants will be mentored in writing and delivering 4-5 short speeches . The YLP provides a very effective platform for a teenager to acquire the skills of speaking, listening, thinking -- skills that are extremely important in today's world. Crystal Toastmasters Club has successfully conducted several YLP programs since 2005. The trainers are experienced Toastmasters and proficient in public speaking .
